Beeline is a low-stakes game about frustration, routine, and the comedy of being late.
Beeline is a 2D endless runner about missing the bus.
The player begins at a local deli, waiting in line for a MetroCard. A customer buying far too many lottery tickets delays them just long enough to miss their ride. Running through garage-day streets and past family-owned storefronts, the player jumps and slides through obstacles while collecting fare and momentum. The bus remains just out of reach.

There is no win.
You never catch that damn bus.

Props and UI
The Player must clear benches and street trash during their mad dash. Collecting fare brings them a bit closer to their ride, but also makes it increasingly more difficult to see the obstacles ahead.
Animatic and Process
This was a learning process with multiple versions, all with their own charm! Beeline developed with each round of design.
